Pérxican: A Spice Blend Inspired by Layers, Not Borders
A bold, handcrafted spice blend where Persian depth meets Mexican heat—designed for flavor without borders.
Pérxican is more than a spice blend—it’s a layered expression of cultural memory, created at the intersection of migration, flavor, and design. Inspired by Parisa’s time in Mexico City and her Iranian roots, this small-batch blend brings together two culinary traditions that share more than spice—they share spirit.
Flavor Profile:
Pérxican is made from a signature blend of fenugreek, turmeric, ancho chili pepper, sumac, paprika, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cilantro, parsley, and cumin. The result is an earthy, tangy, smoky, and herbaceous flavor that bridges warmth and brightness in a single pinch.
Building the World of Pérxican
Parisa designed every aspect of the product—from its name to its visual language—as an extension of her cultural storytelling.
The name Pérxican (Persian + Mexican) is a word remix that reflects identity hybridity and culinary fluidity.
The packaging blends Persian and Mexican tile, rose and ornamental details and color palettes.
The campaign features layered textures, emotional imagery, and spice presented as artifact, not just product.
From Tehran to CDMX: A Flavor Resonance
While living in Mexico City, Parisa felt an uncanny emotional and aesthetic resonance with Tehran—her birthplace.
From flavors and architecture to music, design, and politics, the two cities echoed one another in soulful ways. Pérxican was born from that connection: a spice that lives between cities, between cultures, between memories.
